faq’s

1.

You can purchase seated tickets from EventIM – Discovery Festival Tickets, Tour Dates and Prices.

2.

Discovery Festival has a no re-entry policy. Unless permitted by security at the entry gate on a case-by-case basis in emergencies.

3.

No food and drink can be taken into the venue – a doctor’s note will permit food/drink required for medical conditions. Cups of water are available at the bars free of charge. You can also bring in an empty water bottle no more than 500ml.

4.

No camping chairs, gazebos or blankets can be taken into the venue. There are stadium seated tickets you can purchase from www.discoveryfestival.co.uk or are available via Ticketmaster and Eventim.

5.

Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged unless the event is cancelled, or postponed, or there is a material change to the event. A ‘material’ change is a change which, in our opinion, makes the event materially different to the event that any purchaser of a ticket could reasonably expect. A change to the artists performing at the event shall not be a material change. Refunds should be obtained from the point of purchase. Personal arrangements including travel, subsistence and accommodation relating to the event which have been arranged by you are at your own risk. Discovery Festival will not be liable for the payment or any compensation of personal expenses related to the event.

Via Train:

Darlington Train Station is a short 5 minute taxi ride to the Darlington Mowden Park. There is also public buses (6A to 13A) which will take you to Mowden Park. Darlington Train station is a 30 minute walk away from Mowden Park.

Via Car:

Getting to Darlington Arena for Discovery Festival is straightforward from both the north and the south. If you’re travelling by car from the north, follow the A1(M) southbound and exit at Junction 57 onto the A66 towards Darlington, then follow signs for Neasham Road and the arena. If you’re coming from the south, take the A1(M) northbound, again leaving at Junction 57 for the A66 towards Darlington and following local signage to Neasham Road. Please note, to park in the official arena car park you must have pre-paid for parking in advance

Parking:

Limited parking is available at Mowden Park and must booked in advance. A road closure will be in place at the A66 from Hurworth.

Please note that cars will not be able to leave the car park until approx. 15 minutes after the show has ended to allow safe exit of pedestrians.

Council Car Parks in the centre of Darlington will be free from 3pm on a first come first served basis.

Parking restrictions will be in place around the arena. A local residents parking scheme is in place on event days preventing parking on local and nearby streets.

Enforcement Officers will be on patrol on the day and cars parked in breach of parking regulations may be fined or removed.

There are a number of blue badge spaces at the venue and must booked in advance.

Accessible tickets are available via Ticketmaster and Eventim. Accessible toilets will be located across the site. Guests using the accessible viewing area will be provided with seating and access to accessible toilet facilities. The event area is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance.
