It is with great disappointment that we must announce the postponement of Discovery Festival, in Dundee 2026.

When we planned this event a year ago, none of us could have anticipated the current economic situation and the impact it would have on all our lives, affecting everyone’s disposable income.

We will continue sharing amazing events with you all in Dundee, but this year, the combination of rising costs and other events, particularly BBC Radio 2 in the Park, have all had a huge impact and sadly means despite our best efforts, we are not able to deliver the experience you have previously enjoyed with us and we believe you deserve. We have therefore reached the very difficult and heartbreaking decision to postpone the festival to the confirmed dates of 22nd - 25th July 2027, with 80’s Calling confirmed on 24th July.

The full 2027 exciting line ups will be announced shortly, with an additional day to enjoy too, so why not hold on to your tickets and make your decision then!

Regarding your 2026 tickets, there are three options available to you:

  1. Hold on to your ticket for ANY confirmed 2027 date 22nd – 25th July 2027 and receive an ADDITIONAL FREE COMPLIMENTARY ticket to a day of your choice – Your ticket is now valid for 2027 and provided you hold on to it, as a thank you for your loyalty and support, you will also receive an additional complimentary ticket for any day at the festival next year.
  1. Ticket Exchange to Summer’s End Angus - We truly want you to enjoy live music this summer! So, we have been working with our friends at Summer’s End Angus to make that happen (taking place 14–16 August 2026, just outside of Brechin) If you have a Discovery Festival  ticket you can choose to use it at  Summer’s End Angus instead at no extra cost to you. (GA worth £69.99, Gold Circle/VIP worth £120 all tickets would also receive free parking & access to their Friday night opening concert). Please contact your ticket provider for more details.
  1. Refund - If neither of the above options work for you then please contact your ticket provider for a refund.

We are all so very sorry, and we truly hope you’ll stay with us for 2027. X
